Jaggery Baked Pudding

You will need
Condensed Milk ½ cup
Water ½ cup
Eggs 3
Grated Jaggery 1 cup
Bread ( Buttered ) 4 slices
Spices and Nutmeg ½ Tsp
Handful of chopped Cashew nuts
Pinch of Salt
Let’s make it
Step 1 Mix Condensed milk and water, and mix in the Jaggery.
Step 2 Beat the eggs together with the spices and mix in the Jaggery, milk and salt.
Step 3 In a bowl, put slices of buttered bread and pour the Jaggery mixture.
Step 4 Bake / Steam, till firm. Later sprinkle with chopped Cashew nuts.
This is a Modification of the Sri Lankan Dessert Watalappan. You can change the sweetness by increasing or decreasing the amount of Jaggery you put in to the mixture.
