Dessert, the last course of a meal. Within the US sweet is probably going to incorporate pastry, cake, ice cream, pudding, or recent or sautéed fruit. British meals historically end with nuts, fruits, and port or different dessert wine, whereas French observe is to finish with fruit, cheese, and wine; in each (cuisines), an additional elaborate meal would come with a sweet course preceding the dessert offerings. In Spain, Portugal, and geographical area countries, desserts of sweet (a baked caramel custard) are ubiquitous.

Different made sweets supported eggs, milk, and fruits are also preferred. The flowery cakes and tarts of the central and geographic region build the sweet course a glory of those preparations. Indian cuisine offers sweet puddings and dense cakes tasteful with rosewater, honey, and nuts. In several cuisines, however, there's no usual sweet course; rather, recent fruit, tea, or occasional represent the top of the meal. In Japan and China, elaborate confections are sometimes ingested as snacks instead of as a part of a meal. The dessert course reached its celestial point within the banquets of the Eu courts of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, once the need for ostentation and tactical manoeuvre coincided with the widespread handiness of sweetening and flour. On tables embellished with flowers and discipline fantasies in sugar and pastry were bestowed dozens of creams, tarts, fruits, cakes, pastries, puddings, jellies, and meringues. Sweet sweet dishes demand sweet wines. Notable among these are sweet port, sherry, and Madeira; Tokay ASZ of Hungary; Sauternes; Greek mavrodaphne; and German Auslese, Beerenauslese, and Trockenbeerenauslese bottlings. Sweet or dry liqueurs and brandies are also offered at the meal’s close.
Each country has their own type of desserts which are unique to them.
